Welcome to Grade 7 Social Studies! While you are in my class, you will be learning Canadian History from 1713-1850 (Approximately) These years were crucial to the development of our nation today.
We will attempt to cover:
- (A Review of ) New France
- The Seven Years War
- Establishment of British Rule
- The American Revolution & The Loyalists
- The War of 1812
- British North America
In this course, you will learn how to think like a historian and examine some of the most important events that led to the Confederation of Canada in 1867.
I am SUPER PASSIONATE about history, so hopefully, history will become one of your favorite courses.
